What Happened Yesterday
Anthropic shipped a Claude mobile update on March 26, 2026 that embeds 11 enterprise tools as live, interactive canvases directly inside the chat interface.
Not screenshots. Not API summaries. Functional instances — you prompt, edit, and push changes back to the source tool without leaving Claude.
The 11 tools now live inside Claude: Slack, Figma, Canva, Box, Clay, Asana, Amplitude, Hex, Monday.com, and two more added in the mobile rollout.
What "Absorbed" Actually Means
Previous integrations sent commands to apps. This is different.
Claude now renders live app canvases inside the chat window. An Amplitude dashboard you can drag and filter. A Canva deck you can rebrand in real time. A FigJam board that generates from a text prompt. When you're done, changes push back to the source — no copy-paste, no tab-switching, no export.
The underlying technology is MCP Apps, an extension of Anthropic's open Model Context Protocol. Because MCP is an open standard, any tool that supports it can plug into this system — not just Anthropic's 11 launch partners.
Who Gets This (And Who Doesn't)
Available now: Claude Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise subscribers.
Not included: Claude Free tier. If you're on the free plan, this feature does not exist for you.
Mobile-first: The March 26 update specifically targets the mobile app. Desktop Claude has had some of these integrations since the original launch on January 26, 2026 — mobile is now catching up.
The Subscription Question Nobody Is Asking
If Claude can build Amplitude charts, customize Canva decks, and modify Figma boards from inside a $20/month subscription — what happens to your standalone subscriptions to each tool?
Short answer: the tools still need to exist for Claude to connect to them. You need a Figma seat for Claude to access your files. You need an Amplitude account for Claude to read your dashboards.
But for users who currently pay for light use of these tools, the calculus shifts. If you're paying Canva $13/month primarily to build quick decks, and Claude can now do that from within your existing Pro subscription — that's a direct overlap.
Consumer Protection Q&A
Q: Do I need separate subscriptions to Figma and Canva to use this? A: Yes. Claude connects to your existing accounts — it doesn't replace them. You still need to be a paying customer of each tool.
Q: Is this available on the free Claude plan? A: No. Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise only. Free users see none of this.
Q: Is this safe — can Claude send Slack messages or publish files without me approving? A: Anthropic added confirmation prompts before any write action. Claude shows a preview, you approve. No autonomous publishing.
Q: What's "Orbit" and when does it arrive? A: Anthropic's Mobile PM hinted at Orbit — a mode where Claude schedules calls, drafts messages, and navigates apps autonomously. No launch date confirmed.
What Happens Next
30 days: Watch whether Microsoft 365 Copilot or Google Workspace AI respond. Both are under direct pressure — Claude just landed on their turf via a different entry point.
90 days: Orbit launch timeline becomes clearer. If Claude can autonomously navigate apps, the definition of "AI assistant" changes permanently.
6–12 months: The 11 launch tools are the floor, not the ceiling. Any MCP-compatible product can join. The ecosystem expansion is the story to watch.
Bottom Line
What's real: 11 enterprise tools, live inside Claude mobile, functional and editable as of March 26, 2026. Pro/Max/Team/Enterprise only.
What to watch: Whether your standalone SaaS subscriptions overlap with what Claude can now do for you inside your existing plan.
What's next: Orbit — autonomous phone-level task execution. When it lands, "productivity hub" becomes "delegation layer."
OneHuman will track Orbit and MCP ecosystem expansion.
